South Africa: A Silver Renault Kiger and a silver Haval H1 were involved in a road accident collision which happened in the late afternoon hours of Monday. The accident happened near the Jabu Ngcobo Road in Tea Estate – KZN.
The silver Renault Kiger was being driven by a woman with her two children as the passengers in the vehicle. The children, who were aged 3 years and 10 years respectively, have not sustained any injuries in the collision.
The mother on the other hand has sustained an injury in her spine. The members of the public have shared that they called the reaction Unit south Africa to assist the driver of the silver Renault Kiger.
The reaction officers have claimed that they received the call for assistance at the RUSA Operations Centre. The call was made at approximately 16:51 on Monday, when the members of the community saw the collision in Tea Estate – KZN
The members of the community had asked the reaction officers to provide medical assistance for the injured driver. A team of officers was dispatched to be at the scene of the incident. When the officers arrived, they found the woman driver and her children still in the vehicle.
The officials established the injuries of the driver and she was transported to the hospital by a private ambulance. The officials then talked to the driver of the other vehicle to give his version of the events leading up to the collision.
The driver of the silver Haval H1 claimed that he was travelling towards Inanda – KZN when the collision happened. Right before the crash, he was trying to turn right towards the Hilltop – KZN.
The Renault Kiger, driven by the mother was also travelling in the same direction. The vehicle attempted to overtake the Renault which caused the collision. The Renault Kiger moved forward several metres after losing control before it collided into a wire fence.
The driver of the Haval H1 confirmed that he was not injured in the accident. The people of the community have hoped that the mother recovers quickly and safely. They have also cautioned the people to remain careful while driving on busy roads.
