Nigeria: Buguma Peace Builders have entered into a collaboration with the Buguma City Elites to host the annual City Fiesta and Buguma City Peace and Jean Carnival to greater heights. The Jean Carnival, slated for December 30, has now been extended into a Fiesta.
The event will celebrate the final weekend of the year under the theme of Jean clothing with the added element of the peace carnival. The dress code for the event is a customized white T-shirt with Jeans.
The aim of the event is to sensitize the people of the country to stay away from crime and criminal activities. The aim of the weekend event is to bring together people from various sections of the country and educate them.
The Peace and jean carnival will start at 7:00 PM at the Buguma Town Square. The aim of the initiative is to promote peace.
The Buguma Peace Builders are working towards the following mandate:
Say NO to Violence
Say NO to Cultism
Say NO to Kidnapping
Say YES to Love and
Peace for development.
The Fiesta will also include a number of other events. On January 1, the organizers are hosting the old-school night. The event will start at 6:00 PM. The theme of the event will be old school, where the attendants are required to dress in “old school” clothes.
On January 2, the theme of the Fiesta will be all white, and the dress code, in accordance with the theme of the party, will be white. The party will start at 6:00 PM on Tuesday.
The final event of the Fiesta will be the cultural event slated for January 4, 2023. The theme for the event will be culture and the party will start at 4:00 PM. The venue for all the parties in the Buguma Fiesta 2023-24 will be the Buguma Town Square.
