Cameroon: Yong Sports Academy has fined 1M francs and suspended the soccer players for creating indiscipline. The players have officially been denied to play upcoming four football matches that will be played against canon.
The players of Yong Sports Academy who were disqualified are Hamidou Hamid Hamza, Tengoh Ndikum Blaise, Suh Magellan, Ayuketang Kome Thomas and Nji Chefor Nelson. They were also punished, as their 3 points have been deducted.
Reportedly, Yong Sport has five days to appeal for the verdict. The academy is a football club situated in Bamenda, Cameroon. It was founded in 2004, and competes in the top division of Elite One in the country.
The incident that led to this harsh penalty happened during the sixth day of the playoffs at the Bonamoussadi Stadium. The situation involved a contentious dispute where YOSA officials and supporters aggressively confronted the referee Tanyi Shadrach and his assistants by accusing them of biased officiating.
As per the sources, the fallout from the altercation was severe with player Hamidou Hamza and Ayuketang Kome Thomas, who received four match suspensions.
Moreover, the club has received a financial insult to their competitive injury and has been fined 1Million FCFA.
As YOSA is now effectively, out of wining the title race, the spotlight now shifts to Victoria United and Stade Renard who are poised to battle for supremacy.

Considerably, for the development, the homologation commission of the Cameroon Football Federation has dismissed the complaint against Stade Renard of Cotonsport, as well as Gazelle’s grievance regarding Wilfried Douala Nathan of Victoria United.
This ensures that the focus remains firm on the field of play as the season reaches its climax.
Notably, the club was earlier positioned for a strong finish in the playoffs but now three points were docked due to unsportsmanlike conduct during the encounter with Canon.
The deduction has impacted substantially, on the standing team and reducing their total points from ten to seven and causing them to plummet from a commendable second place to a distant sixth.
