Saint Lucia: Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, Philip J Pierre has extended his congratulations to the winners of the Lucian carnival Competitions. The participants of these competitions had the opportunity to pay their tribute to the culture and history of the nation.
The Prime Minister has congratulated the winners, saying that they had showcased their talent and creativity with the people. PM Pierre attended the finals for the Calypso Monarch Competition and was happy to be a part of the National Carnival Festivities.
The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia took to his social media to share the glimpses from the event on his social media. He highlighted that he was fortunate to experience the event in person during the Saint Lucian National Carnival.
He also noted that the dedication and hard work of all the participants of the event has played an important role in their success. PM Pierre also added that the creatives of the nation have helped in growing the Saint Lucia carnival significantly.
The National Carnival in turn has helped the small businesses of the nation grow and expand due to a boost in the economic activity of the nation. PM Pierre shared the list of all the winners who have shown their talent at the Calypso Monarch Contest.

PM Philip J Pierre thanked all the contestants for their contribution in making the event a resounding success. He also highlighted the successs of the Kiddie Carnival, noting that the nation is gearing up to host the Parade of the bands.
He invited the people of the country to gather together and participate in the parade and celebrate with music and dance.
