PM Roosevelt Skerrit welcomes Bellevue Chopin students to PMO

Dominica: Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr Roosevelt Skerrit hostedf the students of the Bellevue Chopin Primary School to his office. The meeting between the students and the Prime Minister was held on Thursday when the students got the opportunity to see their Prime Minister personally.

The meeting with the Prime Minister served as a once in a lifetime opportunity for the children. They had the opportunity to speak to their leader on several interesting topics of discussion.

PM Skerrit was delighted to welcome the children and speak to them regarding their experiences at the school. They discussed  in detail about plans for their new school building and shared stories about their classroom experiences.

He Prime Minister shared some glimpses from the event on his official social media  (Facebook accoumt). He  was excited to engage with the students and spend time with the primary schoolers.

PM Roosevelt Skerrit called the young minds the future of the country and claimed that he was honored for their company. This is the second instance in 2024 that a group of students have visited the Prime Minister of Dominica in his office.

Previously, PM Skerrit welcomed the students and teachers of the Thibaud Primary School to his office as a part of their educational tour. The students, who visited the office of the Prime Minister in February, were delighted by the once-in-a-lifetime experience.

The people of the country had also appreciated the Prime Minister for giving the young children the opportunity to meet their leaders. Notably, they had even asked the Prime Minister to make it into a regular practice for future.

The people  appreciated the Prime Minister for welcoming the youngsters into his office and giving them the opportunity to see the office. He was warm and affectionate to the children and helped them make the most of this opportunity.

The students visited the Office of the Prime Minister as part of activities to mark Library Week. The visit was organized by the Dominica Library and Information Service.
