St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew arrived in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to attend the 7th Sitting of the OECS Assembly. In his address to the gathering, he reaffirmed the importance of regional unity in addressing global, social, and geopolitical challenges.
PM Drew also emphasized that true progress for the Caribbean can only be achieved by facing the world together, as one, while addressing the 7th Sitting of the OECS Assembly.
Prime Minister Drew presented St. Kitts and Nevis as a leading example where both Government and Opposition have demonstrated strong political will by working together on key national projects.
In 2025, the leaders of OECS Member States have come together to advance a legislative agenda critical to the free circulation of goods across the region. The key bills under the discussion included:
- Animal Health Bills
- Plant Protection Bill
- Food Safety Bill
- Standards Bill
- Customs Bill
This year, each bill is essential to strengthen trade, food security and economic integration within the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
Also, Prime Minister Dr. Terrance Drew and Opposition Member Alexis Jeffers are currently in St. Vincent and the Grenadines and are representing St. Kitts and Nevis at the 77th Meeting of the OECS Authority.

As per the sources, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis Dr. Terrance Drew, and his fellow OECS Heads of Government arrived in St. Vincent and the Grenadines last evening for the 77th Meeting of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) Authority.
The meeting brings together the Heads of Government from across the OECS region to discuss a range of pressing issues, which are affecting the member states.
PM Drew will engage in bilateral and multilateral discussions, which will advance the priorities of the St. Kitts and Nevis Federation within the framework of the Sustainable Island State Agenda.
He will also fulfill the commitment of the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis, to deepen its role within the OECS and strengthen ties with its regional partners to deliver greater opportunities, resilience and prosperity for all citizens.
