St kitts: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, who travelled to Los Angles to discuss partial and full scholarships for the students of St Kitts and Nevis. During his visit and meeting with the Southern University and A&M College, he met several students from St Kitts and Nevis.
The students were part of the first batch who would be pursuing their tertiary education in the Southern University and A&M college. The Prime Minister hosted the students to a dinner where he gave them insights into what they should expect from their future.
The officials have shared several images from the event on their social media accounts. Taking to his facebook, PM Drew announced that he was delighted to have the opportunity to interact with the students.
He urged them to focus on building their future and work hard to make the most of the opportunity they have been bestowed with. The Prime Minister further urged the students to strive for excellence and be great ambassadors of St Kitts and Nevis.
The smallest island of the western hemisphere has been priorizing and promoting education in all its forms for its nationals. It is important for the people of the country to understand the significance of education in building a bright future for themselves and the upcoming generations.
