St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew visited football program led by the Security Forces United Football Club (SFUFC). The Prime Minister has shared some images from the event on their social media account.
Football is one of the most popular sport in the country accordingly, the programme can also help youngsters make good choices in their lives.
The football programme will help many youngsters of St Kitts and Nevis walk away from a life of crime through community support. The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew shared that he was happy to visit the youngsters.
The programme was hosted in collaboration with the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force’s National Intervention Team (NIT). The football project will help the government in fighting violence and crime across St Kitts and Nevis. PM Drew, who believes that crime and violence should be handled like a public health emergency.
He believes that Crime prevention needs the support of the whole community As such it is important for them to continue hosting programmes like these continuously. The Prime Minister believes that this initiative is a vital part of our citizen security efforts.

St Kitts and Nevis wants to ensure that all the communities are safe and number of crime incidents can be reduced. Once youngsters are engaged in team games like football, the mandate will be easier to achieve
