South Africa: Reaction Unit South Africa found the family of two young boys who had wandered off from Emthebeni in Ndwedwe, KZN. The boys have been identified as 7-year-old Sifiso Ndwandwe (pictured left) and 8-year-old Nkosinamadla Ndwandwe.
The mother of the boys reached out to the reaction officers after she was informed that her children had been transported safely to the RUSA headquarters. The family of the 7 and 8 year olds was looking for the suspect after they wandered off while playing.
The boys were found wandering in the area by a public member who reported the issue to the Reaction Officers. After the Reaction Unit received the call, A Reaction Officer was dispatched for assistance.
After the officer got to the location and on arrival interviewed the brothers to get the details of the children’s family and home.
According to the reaction unit, the officer was unable to confirm where they lived or their parents contact details. The Officer also drove to different locations in Ndwedwe – KZN with the minors in an attempt to locate their residence. However, the effort on the part of the officer did not bear any fruit.
The reaction officers have shared that the children are reunited with their family who are grateful that the children are safe from harm. The people of KwaZulu-Natal took the incident as a beacon of hope for humanity in the region. They thanked the stranger who sought RUSA to find the children’s family.
The people also applauded Reaction Unit South Africa’s role in maintaining peace and security for the people. Meanwhile, the people shared that they deserve to be acknowledged and appreciated by the government of South Africa.
The officials of Reaction Unit South Africa are responsible for reuniting many missing persons with their families. Many times, the missing persons could land themselves into potentially dangerous situations without RUSA intervention.
The law enforcement organization has helped maintain lawfulness and order in the KwaZulu-Natal Province.
