Nigeria: The Nigerian singer Shallipopi has gifted N20 million (13.4M XAF) to his top fan, who hails from Cameroon.
As per the sources, the Evian master launched a search on the digital streaming platform to identify who streamed his songs and listened to his music the most. The singer has announced a reward for the most dedicated listener.
After several days of scanning, Shallipopi discovered ‘Tekno Clinton’ as his biggest fan. The winner himself is an artist who has written beautiful Rap songs, contributing to over 0.01% of streams on Spotify compared to Shallipopi’s other fans.
Notably, Shallipopi has recently crossed 100M streams on the Spotify music platform.
Considering the win, the Pluto Presido singer invited Tekno Clinton to Nigeria and lodged him in a 5-star hotel with all expenses paid by himself. Moreover, Tekno is overwhelmed by becoming a millionaire by just being a fan.
Shallipopi also shared the photographs on his official social media platforms. As soon as the news was revealed, many fans and supporters responded.
