St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of the twin-island Federation of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Terrance Drew, recently participated in the Pre-Labour-Day Meeting held on April 23, 2023. The meeting was hosted in St Peters, Constituency 8. This meeting was organised as a part of the ongoing Labour Weekend Celebrations.
The nation has been seeing the preparation for the celebration of World Labour Day, which is annually celebrated on May 1, 2023. Prime Minister also shared some glimpses of the event through his social media account.
Additionally, Dr Terrance Drew thanked the general public of his constituency and remarked that they made the event a great success. Further, he asked them to share their valuable feedback towards the workings of the minister of the Labour Party.
The Ministers of Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party accompanied Dr Terrance Drew during the Pre-Labour-Day meeting at St Peters.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew expressed his pleasure and gratitude towards the people; he also showed his excitement for being a participant in the event. He also took the platform to extend thankfulness towards the residents of the constituency for showing their immense trust and confidence in him and the government of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party.
In addition to this, he especially thanked the residents and citizens of St Peters, whose immense support and love towards the government during elections led them to victory. He added, “This was the biggest win of SKNLP in the history of the Constituency of St Peters. It was the clean sweep.”
Furthermore, he also highlighted the achievements of the SKNLP government. He was quoted saying, “Comrades! We have a lot to be thankful for with your Labour Party; we have done exceptional work since we got in into office, but it could not be possible without your support, hard work and our strong team of ministers.”
In the end, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew assured that the government would continue to work for the people, and the public made the right decision of choosing the St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party their choice. He also mentioned that people would never regret choosing SKNLP over the previous government, which did not deliver the best policies for its people.
