Botswana: The Minister of Education and Skills Development, Dr Douglas Letsholathebe, has said Botswana, like other Member States, is experiencing the existential threat the world is facing from Climate Change.
Mauritius: The winner of the seventh edition of the Srinivasa Ramanujan Mathematics contest, Noor Mohamed Yasin, a student of the Royal College Curepipe, was awarded the Srinivasa Ramanujan Gold Medal, along with a cash prize of Rs 25,000, by the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Prithvirajsing Roopun, during a ceremony held yesterday afternoon, in Ebène.
Mauritius: An exhibition entitled “SPUTNIK”, commemorating the 65th anniversary of the launch of the Sputnik satellite, was launched on 20th April 2023 at the Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre (RGSC) in Bell Village in the presence of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Konstantin Klimovskiy.
