Kariba, Zimbabwe: Tamarind Resort congratulated the winners of the ‘70 X-mas Party’ organised by them on the occasion of the Christmas festival. The winners have won two nights’ accommodation, which they can avail of at any one of their facilities, free quad-bikes and boat cruise experiences.
While extending their wishes, the Tamarind Resort wrote, “Congratulations to our guests who understood the assignment and nailed the 70s theme party dress code.
They have won themselves 2 nights’ accommodation at any one of our facilities, free quad-bikes and boat cruise experiences.”
The organisers have also shared a photograph of the winners with the certificate. The event was held on Monday, December 25, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the selected venue, the Tamarind Resort in Kariba, Zimbabwe.
The theme of the event was ’Back to the 70’s Christmas’. The party featured surprising live performances.
It also featured fun activities such as:

- Old School vs New School
- Karaoke
- Tug of War
- Family competitions
- Bullride
- Quad Bikes
- Waterslides
The festivity also included prizes for the best dressed, which consisted – of two nights of self-catering accommodation, a boat cruise and quad-bikes.
The event included refreshments such as burgers and chips. It also featured activities such as swimming, jumping castles, evening concerts and free waterslides from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
To enter the party, visitors had to purchase tickets for $20 per person.
Besides this, the Tamarind Resort also organised Christmas programs on Dec 24 and Dec 25. On Dec 24 Dinner was organised for which price of $25 was charged from the attendees.
On Dec 25, festive activities began at 9:00 a.m. and ended at 2:00 p.m. After that, Christmas Eve was celebrated from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., for which the visitors purchased a coupon for $35 to have dinner.
Christmas Buffet menu or Dinner consisted of Appetizers, followed by the Main Course, then Starches and Vegetables, and at the end, delicious desserts were served at the festive gathering.
