South Africa: Reaction Unit South Africa began with the recent investigation on a case of a car accident. In the incident a taxi overturns due to the impact collision with another vehicle.
As per the sources, the incident is being reported of Cornubia Mall situated in KwaZulu Natal region of South Africa. Several people were injured in the road accident.
Reportedly, the incident happened when a mini bus, which was travelling with number of passengers suddenly gets overturned during a collision at the entrance of Cornubia Mall in Mt. Edgecombe, KwaZulu Natal on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
However, a passing motorist contacted the Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) for their assistance around 9:37 a.m. Upon reaching at the spot, where the incident happened, the Reaction Officers discovered that multiple private ambulance services were in attendance.
Also, they saw that a white Toyota Quantum taxi was lying on its sideway and another black Chery Tiggo was there with extensive front-end damage and was located on scene.
Allegedly, the mini bus failed to stop at a red robot which eventually resulted in the robust collision of the two vehicles. Yet this could not be confirmed until any further investigation.
Notably, the driver of the Cherry Tiggo did not receive any injuries and was reported safe to the RUSA team.
Following this many local people have shown and expressed their rage by filling the comment section with their views and opinions.
A social media user named Thomas Naidoo said, “Taxi drivers are serious criminals. Always rushing, irrespective of safety and innocent lives. Confiscate their drivers license and pdp. Their punishment must be behind bars.”
Another person with the username Marlene Pillay commented, “Taxi drivers are ignorant of all other road user’s in this area.”
Kesavan Moodally narrated, “I had a similar incident here 2 weeks ago, taxi didn’t stop and went through at high speed, would have ended up in this kind of predicament. Delivery bike drivers have the same attitude in this area as well. Law enforcement needs to police this area more often.”
A person named Cheryl Sacks suggested, “Please people get a small dash cam saves a lot of hassle deciding who was in the right or wrong.”
