Zambia’s tour and travel company, Beyond Zambia, has offered a train trip from Zambia to Tanzania.
The train will pick travellers from Kapiri in Zambia and will take them in Mukuba Express via Tazara Railways to Dar in Tanzania. The travel firm will charge K716, per the information released in July 2023.
For any adjustments needed the interested travellers can recheck for the details. The organisers are arranging the trip by train as it is the cheapest mode of transport.
Kapi Mposhi
Kapi Mposhi is a small town in the Central Province of Zambia. The town consists of two railway stations, which play a significant role in connecting Zambia to Tanzania.
The stations are mainly known as the Zambia Railways and Tazara Railway. The main streets in the town are lined with businesses that cater to every need of the tourists.
The town offers a few of the activities that can be enjoyed by the travellers and are the biggest attraction spots for them.
Activities can be enjoyed alone, with family, friends, etc., including hiking and biking trails, the Kapiri Mposhi Museum, shopping, and the Tazara Railway Train.
Dar es Salaam
Dar in Tanzania originally known Dar es Salaam has begun as a small fishing village and has emerged out to be as a bustling modern city, major port and center for business and culture in the East Africa.

TAZARA
TAZARA as it is popularly known as, Tanzania and Zambia Railway Authority runs trains between Kapiri Mposhi, to Dar es Salaam and covers Mbeya within two nights.
The Zambian Mukuba Express now permanently operates the express service, but the Tanzanian Kilimanjaro operates only the ordinary train. Before 2016, the two train sets alternated on both services, so there is no confirmation which set the traveller will get the first.
The trains consist of sleeping cars and a restaurant car. The journey on the Mukuba train is a great adventure and covers a long 1860 km line, which was established in 1976 with Chinese funding and assistance.
