South Africa: The FlySAA has increased their flights services to Windhoek. The services have been made to three flights daily. Passengers can now fly with an added extra frequency and can now choose whichever time suits them the best.
The FlySAA extended their gratitude to Hosea Kutako International Airport and thanked them for welcoming the additional flights in style. It was a warm gesture which was highly appreciated by the officials.
Moreover, earlier FlySAA shared a post considering the same and highlighted that this is something special that needs a name, so they introduced it as ‘Triple Dailies’! The additional flights began from today May 01, 2025, their three times services a day from Johannesburg to Windhoek.

FlySAA advised the passengers to catch the flight on time at 5:55 a.m. for business and full day’s work in Windhoek. The second flight at 11:40 a.m. connects perfectly with international arrivals and the third flight at 3:20 p.m. give the passengers afternoon flexibility.
Also, available with fully inclusive return fares from just R3804, FlySAA suggested travellers pre-hand to plan their next trip with these flights. As the services offer were valid for bookings done until April 30, 2025 and for travel from May 01, 2025 to June 30, 2025 only.
Terms and conditions will apply for the flights connecting Africa to the World, and one can book one flight at a time.
This decision of flying additional flights between South Africa and Namibia has just got easier and better, giving more options to the travllers.

Notably, South Africa’s national carrier began operated three daily flights between OR Tambo International Airport hub in Johannesburg and Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport. SAA will offer early morning, midday and mid-afternoon flights from Joburg to Windhoek.
Since, the restructured airline resumed the scheduled services in September 2021, South African Airways has cautiously been adding destinations and scaling up the frequencies. Initially, SAA relaunched services between Johannesburg and Cape Town as well as a handful of cross-border destinations on the African continent.
SAA’s domestic route network includes Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth). The airline resumed scheduled flights to Windhoek in December 2022, operating six flights a week, by using an Airbus A320 aircraft.
Indeed, the ramping up of SAA flights on the Johannesburg – Windhoek route was possible to make due to receiving of additional aircraft as well as optimised flight scheduling. The South African Airways fleet as of now are 19 in total, mostly narrowbody Airbus and Boeing aircraft. It also has 4 widebody Airbus aircraft for long-haul routes.
