Cameroonian Mixed Martial Artist(MMA) Heavyweight fighter Francis Ngannou, is confirmed to have the next fight with Britain’s professional Boxer Anthony Joshua in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on March 9, 2024.
Notably, Anthony Joshua is a former unified world heavyweight champion. A press conference is scheduled to be held on Jan 15, 2024, to reveal more details related to the upcoming fight. The match was announced by the promotional teams Matchroom and Queensbury on Friday.
Reportedly, Francis Ngannou knocked down Tyson Fury in his first professional boxing bout to become sensational last October. However, Fury emerged with victory points in Riyadh after considering a hotly debate.
The World Boxing Council (WBC) mentioned UFC- Heavyweight fighter Francis Ngannou in their top 10 fighters, considering his creditable defeats to other contenders.
Whereas, Anthony Joshua produced a ruthless fifth-round stoppage of Otto Wallin that sealed his third straight victory last year in Dec 2023.
After his impressive win against Wallin, Joshua declared publicly that he is ready for the fight anytime and anywhere with anyone.

As per the sources, Saudi Arabia will again conduct a major heavyweight fight just weeks after Tyson Fury takes on Oleksandr Usyk in an undisputed world title fight on February 17, 2024.
Considering the fight, Francis Ngannou himself posted on his official social media handle and tagged Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and Anthony Joshua in it.
In the post he wrote, “It’s not a breaking news anymore but I’m just putting it out there as it is. See you in Riyadh Anthony Joshua and let’s rumble at GIMMICK Professional Fight.”
Many celebrities and fans have shown their support and responded positively.
Musician Eric Michael Hopper supported Francis N’Gannou and wrote, “You will win.”
