Nigeria: The Executive Chairman of the Asari Toru Local Government Area, George Onengiyeofori, met the reigning Miss Aso Rock, Abuja, Vanessa Amachree. The youngster paid a courtesy call to the executive chairman earlier this week.
Chairman George shared the images of the meeting on his social media. Additionally, he also thanked Vanessa Amachree for paying him a visit. The chairperson was extremely proud to announce that she is a daughter of Asari-Toru Local Government Area.
The chairman further noted that Venessa is flying the flag of the Asari Toru Local Government Area flag in Abuja. The youngster has represented Kalabari and Rivers State very well on the National Stage.
She is currently preparing to compete in the Miss Cosmos pageantry. Before this significant event, she visited her hometown and family to gather best wishes from her loved ones.
Executive Chairman George Onengiyeofori urged all Asalgans, Kalabari sons and daughters and indeed, all Rivers State indigenes to pray for her and support her in any way possible. She is our daughter, our pride and our representative on the international stage.
The people of Asari Toru and the Rivers State answered this plea enthusiastically. The social media post shared by the executive chairman was flooded with congratulatory messages and best wishes.
