A video is going viral claiming the legendary movie Tarzan was filmed in the jungles of Cameroon in Africa.

Cameroon: A video is going viral claiming the legendary movie ‘Tarzan’ was filmed in the jungles of Cameroon in Africa.

In the video a man can be seen narrating the story and behind him a tree is visible which is known as ‘Arbre de Tarzan’ which means Tarzan Tree.

Considering the viral video, 237Showbiz has shared a post on its official social media handle and along with the video, they wrote, “Wow! Cameroon has been a Continent from way back!”

The officials mentioned that the original Tarzan movie was picturised in Cameroon. While informing the fact 237Showbiz wrote, “Did you know the original Tarzan movie was shot in Cameroon from November 1983 to February 1984?”

“The tree you see behind the Mister is known as ‘Arbre de Tarzan’ which literally means Tarzan Tree. If you have watched the movie, the first Tarzan movie was shot in the beautiful location of Nkongsamba, where you find the Ekom-Nkam waterfalls,” wrote 237Showbiz.

As soon as the post was shared on the official social media handle many people and movie lovers filled the comment section with plenty of reactions, which are a must-read:

A person living in Douala, Cameroon has shared a screenshot of the proof and commented, “Wooah, in screenshot it was written that ‘Filming started in November 1982. The film was shot in Korup National Park in western Cameroon and in Scotland.”

Another social media user Louis Yong Tambia commented, “Some scenes in the movie were acted at the Ekom Kam Fall.”

Another user Sam Vosko Vemo wrote, “Even part of Titanic was shot in river Bui of Nso.”
