Germany, Zambia: Zambia Women’s National Team coach Bruce Mwape now has all 35 players in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup provisional squad currently in Germany for an international camp.
This follows the arrival of the Kazakhstan quartet of Catherine Musonda, Ireen Lungu, Hellen Chanda and Martha Tembo. The four were the last members of the Copper Queens squad to join the team following the conclusion of matches in Kazakhstan at the weekend.
They will be in contention for a place in Friday’s matchday squad for a pre World Cup international friendly against Switzerland in Bienne.
As per the sources, Zambia will take a short trip to Switzerland Wednesday morning.

Residents of Zambia are happy with this achievement of the Copper Queen. One of the residents, Patrick Chitambo Mwenge, said that this is great news and he is hoping that ladies will also play Friday match and will beat Switzerland. However, some people need clarification regarding whether all 35 people will attend the world cup or some selective.
