Zambia: Zambia is working to increase its volume of Australian tourists following its successful exhibition at the National Multicultural Festival. The government of Zambia has been working hard to promote the tourism sector of the country.

The Ministry of Multicultural Affairs of Australia hosted the National Multicultural Festival held in Canberra, Australia over the weekend. The tourism stakeholders of Zambia who promoted the Zambian culture during the event have claimed that the project has been successful for the people of the Ministry.

The government of Zambia has been making efforts to promote the country as a tousism spot for travel enthusiasts across the globe. The people of the country have shared their excitement on the positive development in the country.

The team from the Ministry of Multicultural Affairs travelled to the event to promote the various destinations of Zambia. The three-day National Multicultural Festival is hosted every year by the Ministry of Multicultural Affairs in Australia.

The event serves as an annual unique platform for Canberra’s diverse multicultural communities to showcase, celebrate, and share their unique cultures and customs with the national audience in Australia’s capital.

Minister for Multicultural Affairs Tara Cheyne emphasised the festival’s role as a wonderful opportunity to spotlight the cultural richness and diversity of the community.

Zambia High Commissioner to Australia and New Zealand Dr Elias Munshya was happy seeing the success of the Zambian showcase during the three day event. He has expressed gratitude to several Australians who visited the Zambia exhibition booth and showed keen interest in visiting Zambia.

Zambia’s booth promoted the various tourism attractions, such as the Victoria Falls and the Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Rhinoceros, Elephant, and Buffalo.

The attendees were delighted to learn that holders of Australian passports can visit Zambia without a visa.
