Zambia Tourism Awards to embrace Daliso Chaponda’s comedy this year

Daliso Chaponda, a renowned and fan favorite comedian based in Zambia is all set to perform at the Tourism Excellent Awards 2023. The event will be held in Zambia on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Ciela Resort. 

The comedian is the most striking and well-known stand-up comedian. His marvellous performance during the ceremony will raise the entertainment level high.

This comedy superstar’s popularity skyrocketed, and he came to light after Britain’s Got Talent and had millions of online views. With appearances on top TV and radio shows and performances at global comedy festivals, Daliso is a multi-talented entertainer who will leave people in stitches of laughter. 

His comedy skit is sure to make people laugh until they cry. The Tourism Excellence Awards 2023 will include an exciting collection of activities.

The Tourism Excellence Awards 2023 are ready to set the stage in Zambia on Friday, November 24, 2023, at Ciela Resort. This year, the Award Ceremony will be held under the theme, “Sustainable Tourism, Preserve & Prosper.” The timings of the event are from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. 

The Tourism Excellence Awards 2023 have partnered with South African Airways. These are sponsored by silver sponsors, Public Service Microfinance Company PSME, Zambeef. The Zanaco company are the gold sponsor, and DSTV is the Bronze Sponsor. 

This time, the chosen dress code for the Awards is Black, Emerald green and a touch of gold. This year, the awards will nominate four of the best nominated categories for the 2023 excellence awards. These nominations will be done under the courtesy of the Zambia Tourism Agency.

The Nominated categories are as follows:-

1. Best Domestic Tourism Promoter
2. Best Destination Marketing Company
3. Best Tourism Campaign
4. Best Tourism Activity

During the 2023 edition of the awards, Pretty Mbaiwa will be honoured with a nomination for the Best Tourism Personality of the Year at the Tourism Excellence Awards. Her nomination is a testament to her unwavering passion and outstanding contributions to the tourism industry.

The Likumbi Lya Mize was the only traditional ceremony nominated for the 2023 awards. 

This ceremony transforms tourism into a positive force by safeguarding culture, heritage, language, wildlife, natural resources, environment, and everything else that makes this country unique through the various activities practised during and after.
