Saint Lucia: The opening ceremony for Course 38 of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force was hosted on Monday at the training ground of the Police Force. The Course 38 consists of 80 New Recruits of the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force.

The eighty recruits have managed to qualify for the official training of the police officials, The members of the new squad will be undergoing training at the hands of the seniors of the Police force.

At the end of six weeks of the training exercise, the recruits will be ready to serve their nation. The Prime Minister of Saint Lucia Philip J Pierre attended the event and extended his best wishes.

He claimed that the members of the new squad deserve to be honored for their selection in the Course 38. The recruits have been working hard to earn their place in the training course.

The Prime Minister highlighted that the members of the community who have made it to the squad should be proud. He said that there are hundreds of people whp want to be in the place of the young recruits.

However, those hundreds of people did not manage to meet the criteria that was needed to support the people. The Prime Minister expressed that he was proud of the youngsters who will be getting ready to serve their nation.

He highlighted that they will undergo 6 months of extensive training in order to begin active duties within the Police Force.

At this point, PM Philip J Pierre encourage each of the new recruits to stay focused on their goal. He asserted that they have to strive daily to maintain their oaths to the country and people of Saint Lucia.

He finally extended his congratulations and and wished the recruits the best as they take the first step towards serving their nation as Police officers. The quality of the new officers of the squad is extremely important for the overall protection of the nation.

The people of Saint Lucia have also extended their best wishes to the new recruits, hoping that they would do well for their nation.
