A 22-year-old Caleb Pillay, who had previously gone missing in Chatsworth, has been found safely at Chatsworth, KZN. As per reports, He was diagnosed with severe mental health issues previously. He fled from RK Khan Hospital on Tuesday when his family was trying to get him to be admitted.
Caleb Pillay, aka KP, is a resident of Crossmoor in the Chatsworth district of Kwa Zulu-Natal. He was last seen wearing sandals and purple shorts in Chatsworth.
As per the Information, Pillay has a previous record of major mental health issues. After realizing that his condition was getting critical, his family members took him to the local hospital at Chatsworth on Tuesday.
While attempting to get him admitted into a psychiatric ward at RK Khan Hospital, He fled immediately from the medical facility prior to his admission.
However, his family is now continuously trying to locate him. They even contacted the Reaction Unit of the South Africa Team to look into the case and assist them in finding their family member.
The missing persons report has been filed (1036/12/2023) at the Chatsworth Police Station. The local police are also trying to locate him.
RUSA Team also shared the information on their social media handle and asked the local community to help them. Additionally, the team has also urged people to contact them immediately at their offices or via the given contact number if they find any evidence.
Meanwhile, after the information had been posted on their social media handle today, people from the local community expressed their sadness and prayed for the victim’s safe return.
