Zambia: Ngoma Primary School in Mazabuka’s Itebe Ward has recently received a new 1 by 3 classroom. The donation of the structure was done through the Mazabuka District Education Board Secretary.
The handover ceremony for the classroom block was hosted on Tuesday. The event was attended by the Mazabuka District Education Board Secretary, Christeta Mwale and Mazabuka Member of Parliament, Garry Nkombo.
During the handover ceremony, the attendants expressed their delight in the successful completion of the structure.
The structure will add to the capacity of the primary school to cater to the needs of the students in the district. The staff and high level authorities of the school are extremely happy with the new addition in the premises.
The authorities confirmed that they will be able to serve the community better with the new classroom blocks. The Meanwhile, DEB Secretary Christeta Mwale announced that the 1 by 3 classroom block has specialized rooms.
These specific rooms in the primary school can are meant to be used as an examination strong room.
Mwale says the rooms will enable the school secure examination papers within the school premesis. The officials noted that previously, the school authorities had to take and collect the papers to and from Nachipoma Ward.
Christeta Mwale notes that the block’s inclusivity will see the school having an examination center status given by the Examination Council of Zambia. She also highlights that required documentation has been processed and sent to Choma Provincial Headquarters.
After the approval of the authorities the students of the Ngoma Primary School will be able to write their exams from the school.
Meanwhile, Mazabuka Member of Parliament, Garry Nkombo, has expressed happiness for the completed 1 by 3 classroom block at Ngoma primary school.Nkombo notes that the free education policy by the government is another way of realizing the potential of the learners at the school.
He further adds that new classroom block will be furnished with adequate desks for proper learning.
