South Africa: Premier Maqueen Letsoha-Mathae visited Ward 51 Caleb Motshabi on Thursday while she was accompanied by her team. The aim of the visit is to unveil a comprehensive development plan for the community.
The officials have shared that the premier has been visiting the various parts of the province for various development initiatives. The Premier of Free State deliver a brief address during her visit to the Ward 51 Caleb Motshabi.
She intracted with the hundreds of residents near Caleb Motshabi Primary School. The Premier emphasized the government’s commitment to improving local infrastructure and services.
Premier Letsoha-Mathae announced a collaborative effort involving all three spheres of government. The aim of the collaboration is to enhance the community’s dignity through significant infrastructure upgrades and sustainable housing development.
Central to this initiative will be a focus on housing, which is expected to serve as a key driver for local empowerment. The initiative aims to create employment opportunities and deliver tangible benefits to residents.
The officials have shared the Provincial government of Free State has shared several images from the visit.
The Premier has tasked the MEC of Human Settlements with investigating water and sanitation challenges in the area. She has also urged the MEC for Community Safety with assessing road conditions in the Ward 51 Caleb Motshabi.
The officials have shared that the development of the province is being received with enthusiasm from the community.
The provincial government is also constructing a bridge to make crossing safer and easier for learners. Additionally, the Premier has committed to introducing a mobile integrated service program in the area on September 2, 2024.
“We have a contract with you,” Premier Letsoha-Mathae stated. “Before the elections, we promised to return and fulfill our commitments. We are dedicated to making those promises a reality.”
The Premier was accompanied by MECs Saki Mokoena and Jabu Mbalula, highlighting the unified approach and strong support behind this transformative initiative. The members of the community have shared
