South Africa’s popular singer Tyla amazed everyone at Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show with her performance in Angel Wings. Her unique designs of clothes were very captivating and were actually a Work of Art.
This year in 2024, the brand famous for its women lingerie, hosted the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Brooklyn, New York on October 15, 2024. The event was promoted as an opportunity for Victoria’s Secret to showcase its efforts to work with +size, transgender and disabled women.
Considerably, seven models with disabilities including wheelchair users and visually impaired models, participated in the casting, reflecting the brand’s new inclusive focus.
The 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show featured stunning performances from singers Lisa of Blackpink, South African Star – Tyla and Popstar – Cher.
The ‘Queen of Popiano’ displayed the fashion statements after she stepped off Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway. The SA born singer made a splash with her debut performance and rocked the Tuesday night with her spectacle catwalk.
Joined by other fellow musicians Lisa and Cher, the trio formed the show’s first-ever all-female musical line-up and made a record in its history. Once all the angels were strutted out and the curtains went down, the fashion show went straight from runway to the streets, and mesmerized all.
Grammy Award winner for Best African Music Performance, Tyla later joined the que of supermodels and other A-list attendees for Victoria’s Secret at after-party, also held in New York City, where she proved that a lingerie can actually be the ultimate party girl uniform to outshine.
She shared the glimpses of her walk on the ramp of Fashion Show and posted them on her official social media handle.
What’s more attractive was that the ‘Water’ singer wore a unique set of lingerie dress, which consisted of a lace-trimmed bralette and ruched bottoms with several garter straps, that were attached and hanging off from the sides.
A smart thing was added by the designer, that to stay warm, she paired the outfit with a massive fur coat, which was completed with multi-colored patches in fuchsia, light gray and caramel brown.
Then to finish off the look, singer coordinated her outfit with sheer lace peep-toe heels along with diamond-encrusted earrings.
Prior to the Fashion Show, Tyla about her fans and shared that they could expect from her onstage outfit. She said, “We created something that would tie in with the show, something which would be nice for me to perform in and everyone enjoys. It’s very glitzy and it’s kind of different to what I’m used to.” Tyla added, “But I really like it. It’s something different and is really elevated for me.”
