Housing Consultant Gregory Revere affirmed that the residents will have keys to their home before the arrival of next hurricane season.
Parliamentary representative, Octavia Alfred also thanked the Dominica Government for the project as she anticipates new jobs for her constituency people.
She said that the process took a little while because relocation is a very complicated initiative. A lot of groundwork needs to be done, and somethings just had to be put in place, as the land have with them have their landowners with their titles.
Furthermore, they are happy that all landowners were paid for their land. Alfred confirmed that their preparation work is complete, and they have received the funds too.
To make this process fast, a committee has been appointed by the Cabinet of Dominica, to create a link between the community and the government and the Cabinet.
