Cameroon: The Cameroonian Association of Football Agents (ACAF) has criticized the individuals without the credentials and not officially licensed by FIFA. These individuals jeopardize the interests of players and undermine the integrity of the sport. The ACAF advocates integrity and transparency, representing football.
Reportedly, ACAF of Douala, Cameroon takes itself as a beacon of integrity and professionalism in the field of football representation.
ACAF defends the values of licensed agents by FIFA in all its actions, such as:

- Fairness
- Transparency
- Professionalism
Highlighting the recently made developments, ACAF sends a crucial message to the general public, football players and parents across Cameroon.
Following this, ACAF stated, “We have been informed that individuals, not properly licensed by FIFA and are claiming to act as agents of football players.”
“These unauthorised individuals not only endanger the interests of players, but also undermine the integrity of the sport,” said the association.
As per the sources, ACAF urged caution and discretion while engaging with agents and claimed to hold a FIFA license.
The license is imperative to verify agent accreditations and ensure compliance with the FIFA regulations and protect the rights and interests of football players.
Moreover, as a recognized body, ACAF represents licensed agents in Cameroon. It is ACAF’s mission to defend the rights and well-being of football players and agents, through ethical practices and strict compliance with FIFA guidelines. ACAF strives to raise standards within the football representation industry.
The Cameroonian Football Federation is the football governing body in Cameroon, which is known as FECAFOOT. The federation was founded in the year 1959. It has its headquarters in Yaounde, Douala, Cameroon.
The selected president Samuel Eto’o has resigned recently from his position, after losing in the AFCON 2023 football tournament.
The federation was founded around 1947 by physician Colonel Baudiment ‘La Federation des Sports’, who organized and regulated sports in force, especially football or soccer.
