FRIDAY: The first Cut-Off Low wave is expected to produce a weak cold front in the west on Friday, and with it, a medium chance of light rainfall in the far southwest and south coast and strong winds not exceeding 40km/h over southern Northern Cape around midday.

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Intensification of the Cut-Off Low will lead to widespread showers and thundershowers mainly over the Eastern Cape but including KwaZulu-Natal, Free State, Northern Cape and Western Cape on Saturday but more intense and spreading wider on Sunday.
