Botswana: Botswana Dancesport Association has announced the inaugural Annual Botswana International Dancesport Grandprix. The event will be hosted at the University of Botswana Indoor Sports Arena from the 1-2 March 2024.
The event is being hosted by the Botswana Dancesport Association in collaboration with the Okavango Diamond Comapany. The two organizations are extremely excited to announce the two day annual dance Grandprix for March 2024.
The organizations have invited all their esteemed stakeholders, athletes,coaches,teachers and adjudicators to sign up for the event. As per the organizations, the registration for the event has opened for the event.
The event will allow the dance enthusiasts of the country to find a stage for the expression of their talents. The event will include a number of dance forms for the participants to choose from.
Some of the dance forms which the attendants of the festival will be able to witness include:
Latin, Ballroom, Breakdance, Hip Hop, Pantsula, Line Dance, Salsa, Jika Majika, Afro pop(Jazz), Belly Dance, Ballet, Setapa, Tsutsube, Phathisi, Borankana, Phathisi, Seperu, Hosana, Sebirwa.
The Botswana DanceSport Association promised that the two day event will be an unforgettable experience for the participants. This is why, the tagline of the event is: BE THERE OR BE TOLD.
The resgistration for the event will stay open till February 23, 2023. The organization has been extremely excited to make this announcement. Dancesport Botswana has been counting down to the announcement day for over a week.
They believe that the Annual Botswana International Dancesport Grandprix will be the perfect way to start the year 2024. The competition will be open to only those who register themselves before the deadline of February 23.
The members of the Botswana Dancesport association are also excited to participate in the event. The organization has shared their appreciation for the initiative through the social media. The first Annual Botswana International Dancesport Grandprix will see participation from all over the country.
