Botswana: Botswana is hosting the third edition of the Forbes Under 30 Africa summit. The annual event will be hosted in Gaborone starting from May 5 and will conclude on May 9.
A large number of entrepreneurs and business minded individuals will be attending the event. The Forbes Under 30 Africa summit will serve as an opportunity for the members of the business community to engage in fruitful discussions, and form meaningful relationships.
This exciting event will feature a diverse lineup of local, pan-African, and internationally renowned performers. Some of the artists have already been announced by the organizers of the summit.
The four day event will honor the most successful young businessmen of the continent. Ahead of the major event, the organizers of the event met the Mayor of Gaborone, Austin Abraham.
The team was led by the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Entrepreneurship Helen Chedza Chillisa. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the proceedings of the much anticipated third edition of Forbes Under 30 Africa summit. The country has served as the host of the event for the last three years.
The fact makes it apparent that Botswana holds a high place in the Business community of Botswana. The administration is dedicated to making sure that the third edition of the event turns out to be a remarkable success.
Mayor of Gaborone, Austin Abraham welcomed the team of organizers and appreciated them for taking out time for this discussion. He stated that it is of great honour for Gaborone City to be hosting an event of this magnitude for the third time.
He said this is a great opportunity for young people across Africa to network and share ideas to help them excel in entrepreneurship. The Mayor also urged young entrepreneurs of Botswana to participate in large numbers.
He believes that the event will have a great impact in their businesses.
Gaborone City Council Town Clerk Lopang Pule was also part of the meeting, he added on by emphasising that the City Council has been working tirelessly to make sure that Gaborone City remains in good shape to host events of this calibre.s
