Zimbabwe: The owner of Burj Khalifa Mahomed Alabbar desires to invest in Zimbabwe. The world’s tallest skyscraper owner plans to build luxury hotels and apartments in the country to attract more tourism.

Burj Khalifa is one of the seven wonders of the world It is 828 meters tall and has the highest mosque in the world built on the 158th floor of the tower. It also has an attractive swimming pool on the 76th floor.

The owner of the Burj Khalifa is one of the leading businessmen in the Middle East and is the driving force behind the economic growth of Dubai. He has a keen interest in spanning fashion, property, leisure and commodity sectors.

Reportedly, Mahomed Alabbar is working on another skyscraper that will be taller than the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. He met with President Mnangagwa during his visit to the emirates, last week.

Currently, President Mnangagwa is spearheading the foreign policy of Zimbabwe of being ‘Open for Business’, for which he attended the World Governments Summit in Dubai, last week.

The President of Zimbabwe was conjoined by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade – Frederick Shava and other senior Government officials. Mnangagwa had a busy schedule in the Middle East and interacted with several investors while scouting for mutually beneficial opportunities.

During his visit to the World Governments Summit 2024 in Dubai Mnangagwa posted on ‘X’ (formerly known as Twitter) and said that Vision 2030 means working with the world’s fastest-growing economies.

He said that he is excited to engage in meaningful discussions, to explore future scenarios, possibilities and opportunities.

The Special Presidential Investment Advisor – Dr Paul Tungwarara facilitated the President’s meeting with billionaire – Mahomed Alabbar and said several top Dubai investors are keen on investing in Zimbabwe.

He talked about upcoming big investments to Zimbabwe which will follow the successful engagements between President Mnangagwa and several other investors in Dubai. Among those Alabbar will build luxurious hotels and apartments.

Mahomed Alabbar’s company ‘Emaar’ is a public joint-stock company that is listed on the Dubai Financial Market.
