Nigeria: The famous Afro-singer from Nigeria ‘Burna Boy’ spends over 20 million Naira on his GRAMMY suit, designed by celebrity fashion designer ‘Jamie’. Wearing such an expensive outfit and shine in it gracefully can only be done by artists like Burna Boy.
His solid leather grey outfit caught eyes of all and perfectly complimented his persona. At GRAMMYs he failed to win and lost the Best African Music Performer award to another Afro-singer ‘Tyla’ along with Davido.
Yet the best part is that he still remains the Giant of Africa and will continue to produce the great music and entertain his fans with similar enthusiasm and without compromising with is art and skills.
The interesting part about his outfit is his shoes. His shoes had a figure of silver foot drawn over it which especially grabbed the eyes of all and made them to ask about his attire.
At GRAMMYs, Burna Boy Lights up the stage with his amazing Afro-Fusion performance. He sang several of his nominated songs such as one from his album ‘I Told Them…’.
The Nigerian star danced among colourful buildings and gave a joyous performance on songs such as ‘City Boys’, ‘Sitting On Top Of The World’, etc. His Stage performance later featured a special appearance by Brandy and 21 Savage.
Along with a guest verse from Brandy and 21 Savage; the trio delivered the recent version of the song ‘I pull up in my high fashion, every light flashing’ by Burna Boys.
In GRAMMYs 2024, Burna Boy was nominated as African artist with a total of four nods such as:
- Best Melodic Rap Performance for his single “Sittin’ on Top of the World” featuring 21 Savage.
- Best Global Music Album for his latest album “I Told Them…”.
- Best Global Music Performance for soundtrack “Alone” from the movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
- Best African Music Performance for “City Boys” another popular song from album “I Told Them…”.
Notably, the Nigerian artist earned his first GRAMMY in 2021 and won the Best Global Music Album award for his album ‘Twice As Tall’. In the similar year, the musician delivered a pre-recorded performance which broadcast as a part of the GRAMMY pre-show and was partially filmed in front of Nigeria’s National Theatre in Lagos.
