Nigeria: A Businessman from Niger Delta – Akinaka Richard is all set to launch Abitto Ferry. It will be a transport service company that will take ferry passengers through the waterways from Uyo in Akwa Ibom to Calabar in Cross River State and vice versa.
Reportedly, people traveling between both states can now have an alternative transport system that is completely different from road transport.
Businessman Akinaka Richard has made a revelation that the Jetties and Boats were built by his company known as Abitto Global Service and will be unveiled soon.
As per the sources, the launch of the all new Abitto Ferry is a highly commendable initiative and welcomes the development.
Richard mentioned that the Nigerian Government at all levels should provide him the much-needed support and as well as makes sure that the waterways are safe and secure for all.
Moreover, investors in Asaba and Anambra should emulate him. The Marine transport business is very lucrative and is supposed to be the most safest means of transportation as the safety of the passengers can easily be guaranteed if all the necessary precautions are put in place together.
Recalling the demise of Nollywood actor Junior Pope, Akinaka Richard said that if this type of marine transport service existed earlier, the actor and his colleagues would be still alive today.
Highlighting the speciality of his Abitto Ferry he said, “Our Jetties will have well air-conditioned terminals at both the ends and purposefully will built the ferry boats like this.”
Akinaka Richard has also mentioned that the services for the same were unveiled and the operation has been kickstarted.
