Cape Town: Traffic Fine Roadshow has been arranged into Lentegeur for six days. The event highlights many motorists, as it offers a one-stop shop to settle outstanding fines and warrants. Various city departments will be on hand from Friday, May 16, 2025 to Thursday, May 22, 2025 to assist the visitors.
Reportedly, the roadshows are spearheaded by the Cape Town Traffic Services with the Legal Services provided by the City of Cape Town. This started as an annual occurrence and has now become a far more frequent calendar entry, with the next roadshow that will happen at the Lentegeur Civic Centre.

Considering this, Member of the Mayoral Committee for Safety and Security – Alderman JP Smith said that they continue to be blown away by the level of interest these roadshows generate and he invites everyone with outstanding fines or warrants to make use of the opportunity.
Smith stated that under normal circumstances, people have to go to each individual magisterial district to handle multiple warrants, as the roadshow removes a lot of the red tape. He further expressed that he wants to invite persons on the list of Top-100 offenders to come forward.
A concrete action plan is needed to settle the debt that is surely far more palatable than time behind the bars. Given as the popularity of the roadshows, the attendees should expect long queues. So, they need to be patient and ensure that they have all of the correct documentation with them, to avoid disappointment.
As per the decided schedule, the roadshow will be held at the Lentegeur Civic Centre in Merrydale Road, starting at 8:30 a.m. on the following days:
- Friday, May 16, 2025 – for City staff and members of the public with bulk representations (20 or more fines).
- Saturday, May 17, 2025 – open entry to all. The event will close at 12:30 p.m. on this day.
- Monday, May 19, 2025 to Thursday, May 22, 2025 – open entry to all.

Moreover, the staff will undertake to assist the first 350 people in the queue on any given day, as anyone who is still in the queue will receive tickets to return the following day and will be seen first, provided that they are at the venue by 9:30 a.m.
Notably, the services will be available to include fine-related enquiries, applying for reductions on fines that are issued in Cape Town, by paying outstanding fines and the removal of administration marks on the Natis system.
