Cape Town: Food Blog Cape Town has given a shoutout to the Cape Town Oyster Festival, which is going to be held this month from April 08, 2024, to April 14, 2024. The festival will be considering the flavours of the sea at the Quay Four Waterfront.
While giving the Cape Town Oyster Festival a shoutout, Food Blog Cape Town has shared the rates of the tickets available for the festival and wrote, “The Cape Town Oyster Festival is back and tickets are available in store for R60 per person.”
The tickets consider three signature oyster shots and offers an Oyster Special which will be available at R155 where they can enjoy 6 oysters and a glass of Durbanville Hills Sauvignon Blanc or Rose.
As per the price list for the available oysters:
- 1 shucked oyster will be served with lemon and tabasco in R19
- R99 will be charged for 6 shucked oysters which will be served with lemon and Tabasco.
- For more oysters such as for 12 shucked oysters, R189 will be charged and will be served with lemon and Tabasco.
- Oyster shooters will be available for R35 which will include Oyster and Bubbly, Oyster and Bloody, Oyster and Guinness and Oyster and Whisky.
The Oyster Festival will be hosted by the Quay Four and Ferrymans Irish Tavern.
Quay Four is a legendary restaurant of Cape Town and one of the oldest restaurants on the V & A Waterfront and is now a famous landmark.
Ferrymans Irish Tavern is the original waterfront Tavern and was one of the first tenants of V & A Waterfront in Cape Town. A popular local Irish Pub and Restaurant for traditional Irish pub fare, sports viewing and live bands.
The Oyster Festival will also offer live entertainment performances that will entertain people and the attendees will enjoy the fest all day long.
