South Sudan, Juba: On Thursday, 29th December 2022, Governor Lt Gen Dr Joseph Manytuil Wejang received and met in the State Coordination Office with the leadership of Chiengchung Community Organization to discuss political development, and the challenges facing Chiengchung Community.
The Chiengchung Community Organization, under the leadership of Peter Kuol Mai, briefed Governor Dr Joseph Manytuil Wejang on the political arena, socio-economic development as well political representation of the Chiengchung Community in the State government.
In his keynote remarks, Governor Dr Joseph Manytuil Wejang congratulated Chiengchung Community Organization for the Christmas greeting and new year’s eve wishes.
Governor Manytuil memorized the leadership of the Chiengchung Community Organization at a younger age when still studying at Wangkei Primary School as remarkable.
“As someone who grew up in Wangkei and among Chiengchung Community, I do always remember Wangkei as the place of blessing and rock to my personal success as a leader and many other leaders from Mayom County actualized. So Wangkei is the historical place and beacon of our success as Bul Community; it’s the place where we learned to know our destiny and modern civilization, said Dr Joseph Manytuil Wejang.
Furthermore, Governor Dr Joseph Manytuil Wejang promises that the State government will renovate both Wangkei Primary School and the hospital as well.
On his part, the Chairperson of Chiengchung Community Organization, Peter Kuol Mai, congratulated Governor Manytuil for spearheading peace advocacy and harmony among the people of Unity State. Kuol reaffirmed the commitment of the Chiengchung Community to support and rally behind the leadership of Dr Manytuil Manytuil Wejang.
Residents so far seem satisfied with the leadership of the Chiengchung Community Organization, and they also wished congratulations to the leader. One of the Facebook users commented, “Congratulations to gatchuong for the tremendous step they have taken to visit the governor of the unity State.”
