Chris Brown will be performing on Dec 14, 2024 and Dec 15, 2024. The news broke in September about the superstar coming to South Africa and since then the streets have been buzzing with excitement and the two days shows are completely sold out.
Fans from South Africa and beyond are waiting eagerly for the ‘Under the Influence’ concert and are preparing for a safe and enjoyable experience at the world-class venue of Johannesburg. The concert is sponsored by MTV Base, Big Concerts and YFM Radio.

Organisers such as Big Concerts responded to a comment that asked if security would be beefed up at the venue and its surrounding areas. They assured the people that safety is a ‘top priority’.
The reply by Big Concerts reads, “Hi there! We absolutely have. Your safety is always our top priority. Kindly note we’ve taken many precautions to ensure a safe and secure experience for all patrons.”
They added, “The venue is fully equipped with visible security throughout the premises and we’ve added extra lighting to illuminate the outer stadium areas. We are committed to provide a high level of safety and security for all attendees.”

FNB Stadium will open at 4:00 p.m. The concert will begin with the performance of a supporting artist at 7:00 p.m. and then the stage will be taken by Chris Brown at 8:00 p.m.
Moreover, the enhanced safety measures will maintain a strong security presence of the South African Police Service, pedestrian and parking security and crime prevention marshals. The visible security personnel are stationed throughout the stadium.
It will also include lighting to illuminate the outer areas and enhance the visibility and reduce potential risks.
The event will also take care of the Transportation Safety which includes Park and Ride and E-Hailing and Drop and Go Areas.
In Park and Ride facility, a convenient and safe transport will be provided from designated locations. Tickets for the same will include undercover parking and return transportation. The first set of buses will depart at 3:00 p.m. and the last ones will leave the stadium at 10:30 p.m.
Another facility is E-Hailing and Drop and Go Areas, that are located off Nasrec Road and these zones will be monitored by the security and are brightly lit.
