Housing Minister of Dominica, Melissa Skerrit, started the National Assessment Champions Programme three years ago, and this programme has consistently had a student who held a position in the top ten scholars islandwide.

However, this programme is available only for the Grade 6 students and all preparations are always done under teacher Catherine Robinson’s supervision.

There is no doubt that Melissa Skerrit did a lot for Dominicans, especially for the youth, because she believes that youth is the future of the country, and only they will bring advancements in the nation. She said she is proud of all these young minds and looking forward to seeing them thrive.

This year preparations for the National Assessment Champions Programme started on March 1, and since then, students have been studying hard in order to secure scholarships.
