Dominica: The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Discover Dominica Authority – Marva Williams confirmed their commitment to advance the tourism. She stated that the government has made numerous investments in the sector by including the rehabilitation of tourist sites to ensure that all visitors can have a safe and enjoyable time.
During the arrival of MV Celebrity Ascent in Dominica, CEO Marva Williams said that the government has remained steadfast in advancing the tourism sector as a pillar of developing the nation and empowering the community. She expressed that as the Ascent entered the Roseau Harbour; this reminded them of how blessed they are to share the beauty of Dominica with the world.

In Dominica, every inaugural call of a cruise is a symbol of confidence, partnership and represents the progress for the destination. This year, the nature island is anticipating more than 200 cruise ship calls.
Discover Dominica CEO – Marva Williams confirmed that Dominica is expecting to welcome 274 ships along with 13 inaugural visits that will carry near 400,000 passengers with them to the shores, this 2025-26 Cruise Season.

Williams added that the arrival of cruises will contribute directly to the economy and support hundreds of livelihoods, taxi operators, tour operators, vendors, artisans and small business owners whose work reflects warmth and creativity of the people.
She outlined that the presence of the celebrity ascent underscored the readiness of Dominica to host the modern vessels. These vessels appear to be magnificent and probably one of the most beautiful ones that they have ever seen. Marva noted that the cruise tells story of a destination which continues to grow while preserving what makes them unique, pristine and rich in culture and for being genuine in their hospitality.

Dominica is a Caribbean island that offers a rare blend of adventure, nature and relaxation, and let the visitors enjoy their vacation.
