Cameroon: Francis N’Gannou has talked about something in relation to his fight with Anthony Joshua that was held on March 09, 2024, in Riyadh.

During a live session the Cameroonian fighter has spilled some truth about the UFC fight. N’Gannou said that he wasn’t feeling himself that day.

He expressed, “I was never there for that fight, I remember, I was warming up, sweating but feeling sleepy which was a little weird. I wasn’t myself. I’m really sorry to those who were disappointed by the outcome of the fight.”

Francis N’Gannou said that, “My family members, Cameroonians, my fans worldwide. I will go back to training and come back to reclaim my spot.”

He further added in his statement during the live session that he always felt something wasn’t right about that fight.

Francis N’Gannou made no significant efforts to block or dodge all three of Anthony Joshua’s punches that sent him down that night in Riyadh. The fighter acted like he wanted Anthony Joshua to win and receive the victory.

It was actually noticed that the Francis N’Gannou that pulled up to fight Tyson Fury isn’t the same Francis N’Gannou that fought Anthony Joshua.

The sudden end of the fight was shocking as it was predictable. On the fighting day, Francis N’Gannou, a very good heavyweight champion in the world of mixed martial arts, walked slowly and unsteadily to fight Anthony Joshua.

In the fight, the Cameroonian fighter was knocked down twice before the second bout as a professional boxer. Moreover, Joshua is an Olympic gold medalist and a two-time former heavyweight champion.

Later after winning the match, Anthony Joshua has also contributed some part of his prize money to the ‘Live Alive’ foundation of Francis N’Gannou. The foundation supports the children for their education, living, food, etc.

Following the news, a person named The Ambassador has expressed, “AJ is not Furry, AJ is a professional boxer, he created the chances by letting Francis feel he was only jabbing, making Francis put his hands down to block a jab, then boom, to the face and he drops down.”
