An induction for 153 newly appointed Primary School Departmental Heads was conducted, covering essential aspects of their job descriptions such as curriculum management, instructional leadership, and turnaround strategies for underperforming departments.
The school managements were given the chance to gather crucial insights into their role in promoting quality education in the nation. The first order of business for the education sector was to conduct an Induction of Newly Appointed Deputy Principals.
During this induction ceremony, 143 newly appointed Deputy Principals wer invited to be a part of the sessions. The training focused on their roles as the second layer of leadership at school level. Participants were taken through their responsibilities and leadership expectations to equip them for their crucial role in school management.
The induction empowered participants with the skills and knowledge to transform their schools into centers of excellence. The education department of free state is dedicated to ensuring that they uphold the standard of education provided in the province.
The training sessions and workshops are an important part of the process in this regard. The department has promised to continue imparting knowledge to all the education sector stakeholders.
