Up the Creek Music Festival
The festival is the second longest-running outdoor music festival in South Africa. Celebrated annually on the banks of the magical Breede River, about 23km outside the Swellendam in Western Cape.
It is of 4 days, where 4 stages will be arranged and 50+ live bands will perform. Visit there with your festie bestie and enjoy few days of great music, good food, chilled vibes, short queues and a whole lot of gees. It will be a weekend of great music, camping and fun is awaiting.
Liquicity Festival
It will be observed on February 08, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. at The Ostrich Cape Town, whose tickets are available from R750. It’s time to get excited for more drum & bass straight from the Galaxy of Dreams to the sunny shores of Cape Town.
The fest will feature top DJs and an energetic crowd. The event is a must for electronic music fans. Line-up includes Metrik, Maduk, Etherwood, Niskerone, Jon Void, Dakota, Hyphen, Rudeone, Sektor & Subsequent, Gabzilla, Morgs, Oli The DJ, Rhepuls and Rainman.
DHL Summer Rugby Series
Beginning from February 08, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. and will be played in DHL Stadium, in Cape Town, DHL Summer Rugby Series is here to entertain you all.
Catch the thrilling DHL Stormers battle it out with the Vodacom Blue Bulls, as it is the last home game for the month. The derby game is guaranteed to have an electrifying atmosphere of live rugby and unmatched Cape Town vibes.
Cederberg Stargazing
From Feb 08, 2025 to Feb 22, 2025 between 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., Cederberg Astronomical Observatory session will be organised, in just R120.
Cederberg Astronomical Observatory invites all to a magical Saturday evening, which will be surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Cederberg and under some of the darkest skies in South Africa.
The evening begins with an opening presentation, providing guests with a sense of the scale of the Universe as you journey into space and into the past. After the presentation, the guests will be taken on a guided tour of the Southern Skies and one will have the opportunity to view clusters, nebulae and galaxies through the telescopes.
Investec Cape Town Art Fair 2025
From Feb 21 to 23, 2025 at CTICC, Cape Town, explore the vibrant world of contemporary art at the Investec Cape Town Art Fair. It is the largest international art fair on the African continent.
The event will showcase hundreds of artists, galleries, curators, speakers, special projects and more from across the globe. It is a great platform for exchange and discovery, as it has proven to be a respected and unmissable art event where the feast-growing African art market and the international art world meets.
Paradisco

Cosmopolitan Renaissance Exhibition
Globally recognised for his contributions to contemporary art, Vanmechelen’s oeuvre has been exhibited in prestigious venues around the world, including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Guangdong Museum of Art in Guanzhou, China and Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de Cuba in Havana.
The exhibition, entitled ‘Cosmopolitan Renaissance’ that will feature a selection of Vanmechelen’s fundamental pieces, a reflection of the artist’s commitment to foster a dialogue about cultural plurality and the importance of embracing the diversity in the global society on Feb 11, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. in morning at Zenview, Hout Bay.
