Zambia: Hamaumbwe Village Headman Munachikale Lumamba was happy to see the progress in the construction of a 1 by 3 classroom block at Himabilo Community School. The traditional leader in Monze District noted that the new classroom block will help in the development of the country
The students of the district have been asking the government for the classroom block in the school premises. The new school will help the people of the village significantly as the community school will be able to accommodate more students.
The children will not have to move to schools farther away to get access to education. Furthermore, the school will be able to provide better facilities for the students with the new construction and support from the government.
The Headman of the Hamaumbwe Village said that he was happy to see the development in his village. He shared that the government has fulfilled their promise to develop the education sector of the nation.
They had implemented several school infrastructure projects, particularly in rural areas like Himabilo. The officials have shared that the students of the Himabilo Community School now benefit from a modern, well-roofed facility.
This is a major improvement over the previous situation at which point, the school was in a dilapidated situation. The situation of the building also compromised lessons as the space in the school was inadequate for learners.

Meanwhile, Hamangaba Ward Councilor Francis Ngolwe also expressed his appreciation for the development. He announced that the classroom block was constructed for 430,000 kwacha using the Constituency Development Fund (CDF).
The government decided to construct the new classroom block due to the limited space for the learners in Himabilo Community School. The people of the village are happy with the new development.
