South Africa: Free State Province will host the Lemo Festival from October 04 to October 19. The second event, Cufa Festival, the start on October 03 and conclude on October 13. The government believes that the events will to contribute to cultural, economic, and tourism sectors.

The events will be hosted across the province starting from the month of October. Some of these events will be independently organized and others organized by the government, in efforts to rekindle economic activity in the province.

The Premier of the Free State, MaQueen Letsoha-Mathae has emphasized that local Festivals are crucial for unlocking the Free State’s full potential. Her government wants to create a thriving events industry.
They want to transform the Free State province into a premier entertainment destination. “In line with the pillars of economic development and tourism in the province, we must collectively, working with all stakeholders, continue to envision a Free State that’s no longer just a pass-through province, but a coveted mecca for tourists, investors, and enthusiasts alike”, said Premier Letsoha-Mathae.
The government has asked people to participate in the festivities responsibly, safely, and by following the law.
