Botswana: The Finance Department at Orapa, Letlhakane and Damtshaa Mines (OLDM) has donated supplies to Kedia Primary School hostels. The members of the organization have shared that the donation was made through their Employee Volunteerism Initiative.
The Orapa, Letlhakane and Damtshaa Mines tam has shared that they delighted to support and uplift educational organizations. The donations that they have made included 30 mattresses, 5 solar lamps, and a polka uniform to Kedia Primary School hostels.
The Debswana Diamond Company has shared some images from the donation drive to the school hostel. The administration has shared that they are dedicated to the cause of bringing better facilities to the school.
The donation will help provide the students at the Kedia Primary School hostels access to better facilities. The members of the community have shared that they are delighted to see the Finance Department at Orapa, Letlhakane and Damtshaa Mines work towards community responsibility.

At the handover ceremony, OLDM Senior Finance Manager Chipo Petros highlighted the importance of making a difference in children’s lives. As such, the administration is dedicated to nurturing the dreams of these children from a young age.
Boteti Deputy Council Secretary-Operations Ndidza Molatole expressed gratitude, noting the practical benefits of the solar lamps for hostel students and the comfort provided by the new mattresses. She thanked Debswana for addressing gaps in resources for the school.
