Dominica: The Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit hosted a group of students to the office of the Prime Minister. The students and teachers of the Thibaud Primary School had been invited to the Office of the Prime Minister.
The opportunity was part of their educational tour to Roseau. The Prime Minister said that he was thrilled to host the students and teachers. He shared some glimpses from the visit on his social media account and provided a brief update about the trip.
The Prime Minister interacted with the students and informed the group about the workings of the government. He shared that he was happy to host the students and educate them about how the government functions.
The Prime Minister shared that during the trip, the students from Thibaud Primary School visited several departments. Through the trip, the students were able to get a first-hand view of government operations.
The interaction that happened between the Prime Minister and his guests from the Thibaud Primary School included questions about the role of the Prime Minister.
The students further asked PM Roosevelt Skerrit about the day to day administration of the country’s affairs.
PM Skerrit said that “I was happy to provide the students with an insight into government functions and responsibilities.” The people of the country have appreciated the Prime Minister for taking such an initiative.
They thanked PM Skerrit for taking the time to interact with the youngsters of the country. They acknowledged that the experience was unforgettable for the youngsters. In line with this, many social media users extended their appreciation and support to the Prime Minister through comments.
