St Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew participated in a back to school fair for the students of the country. The education stakeholders of the nation have shared that the event is hosted every year.
The school has reopened on Monday with all thee students going back to school for the new session of school. The officials have shared that the back to school fair was hosted at the St Kitts Marriot Resort from August 26.
The event was attended by several education stakeholders of the nation. The Prime Minister hosted the Back-to-School Fair with school students and their parents in attendance.
The event was hosted for the students of Constituency 08, which is the parliamentary constituency of Dr Drew. The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis attended the event with his wife, Diani Jimesha Prince Drew.
The members of the community have shared that they were delighted to see their leader among them for the celebration. The Prime Minister shared the videos of the event on his social media.
He said that he and his wife had a great time with the children and thanked the attendants, parents, students and organizers for making the event a success. The Prime Minister Dr terrance drew highlighted that the event included several stalls for the children.
The stalls offered a number of treats and food items for the children including candies, sweets, snacks such as popcorn, fries, for drinks juices, etc.
Additionally, the playground was completely filled with fun activities and games such as archery, Jenga, running games, quiz round, etc. and various rides and slides.
The fun elements at the fair added joy to the Back-to-School Fair, and saw a face painter for the kids, they played musical chair, clicked photos at photography booth and many other.
Dr Drew encouraged all the students to be kind to each other, to respect their teachers and to do their best, as they headed into the new academic year.
Back-to-School event brought the families together to prepare for the new session. The event featured the distribution of much needed school supplies and words of encouragement from the Prime Minister.
