St kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew has launched the highly anticipated Sound Your Future Music Summer camp. The launch event was hosted om Monday with youngsters and music lovers attending in abundance.
The theme of the 2024 edition of the Music summer Camp was, “Building Our Own Unique Sound to Create a Future We Love to Hear.” The Music camp seeks to develop the musical talent of the youngsters from across St Kitts.
The officials have shared that the summer camp will be hosted over the course of a week. During the camp, the youngsters will have the opportunity to learn more about music.
The officials have shared that the youngsters will be able to develop and grow their creativity. The Sound Your Future’ Music Camp aims to nurture the future musicians of the nation. The officials and stated that they are dedicated to providing opportunities to refine and enhance their skills.
At the same time, the camp will serve as the platform for encouraging new talent to come forth and shine. The organizers noted that they want to make sure that the enough to perform their songs and help in making the initiative a resounding success,
The camp will train the youngsters in a variety of musical genres. The participants will also be trained on the importance of creating social relationships and connections.
The creative sector relied heavily on social connections and relationship, hence the youngsters needed to learn how to cultivate meaningful and lasting connections.
The Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew has collaborated with the National Calypso Monarch Queen Independent. He wants to see the initiative succeed. He said that the camp was a way for them to improve the people’s music skills.
At the same time, the project will help them in shaping the children into well rounded individuals who can play a significant role in the national development. The members of the office of the Prime Minister were present at the launch event
